Services

The first thing Linda teaches is strong drawing skills. Once the student learns to draw the next step in a monochromatic oil painting or grisaille to learn how to handle paint and model form. Linda then teaches color theory so the student learns to make paintings visually interesting with the use of warm and cool colors. Once the above steps are mastered Linda then teaches the student composition in order to create a truly outstanding oil painting.

Linda also does portrait commissions in both classical and impressionistic styles.

Linda will also give a free consultation to people interested in art instruction and people interested in commissioning a portrait.
